Biografía

Dr. Tannock is Emeritus Professor of Medicine and Medical Biophysics at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and the University of Toronto. He has published widely about clinical trials and led trials that have changed practice for prostate cancer.  Dr. Tannock was a previous member of the Board of Directors of ASCO.  He received the ESMO award (2012), the Allen Lichter Visionary Leader Award from ASCO (2019) and was appointed a Member of the Order of Canada in 2013.
